As a working group of STOC, the Plant Spatiotemporal Omics Consortium (STOC Plant) is envisioned as a collaborative powerhouse to propel forward thinking research and technological breakthroughs in plant omics. Upon its launch, STOC Plant will strive to establish a robust infrastructure for collaborative research, develop industry standards, and advocate for the democratization of data within the plant science community.

Spatiotemporal omics have provided great new opportunities to systematically understand biological processes. The second International Plant SpatioTemporal Omics Research Conference will be held in Beijing, China, from November 27th-30th, 2025. This conference aims to unite researchers worldwide to share their scientific efforts in spatiotemporal omics in plant research and to discuss the further development of STOC Plant. *STOC Plant 2025 is hosted by Plant Spatiotemporal Omics Consortium (STOC Plant) and organized by BGI Research, Beijing, and Southern University of Science and Technology.
